Copeman carpentry

Copeman Carpentry is a family-run joinery and bathroom renovation specialist based in Sheffield. The business has over 8 years of hands-on experience, and its owner holds NVQ Level 2 and 3 qualifications in Site Joinery and Carpentry, along with a Level 3 qualification in Plumbing. It is fully insured and offers free quotes. The business provides joinery, kitchen, and bathroom installation services, and covers Stannington, Crookes, Hillsborough, Crosspool, Crookesmoor, and Sheffield.

It undertakes a significant amount of flooring work, particularly laminate and solid oak, and is often called upon for bespoke joinery jobs requiring greater attention to detail. For bathrooms, it manages all aspects from plumbing and tiling to timber and PVC cladding. Its work is mostly residential, and it has become known for its friendly approach and high standards. The business is flexible and cost-effective, and is happy to work around your schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Interior door installation recurs throughout the feedback for this Sheffield carpentry business, with several customers describing how new internal doors were fitted after a proper site visit and measurement rather than a quote given from a distance. Dale is named repeatedly, whether fitting kitchen units, laying laminate flooring across a double bedroom and landing, closing gaps between old rafters or completing a loft conversion, and more than one review highlights that he arrived exactly when promised and kept them informed at every stage of the work.

A theme running through the feedback is the care taken with existing surfaces: skirting boards and walls were protected during floor removal, and work areas were left clean and neat afterwards. Customers also note that quotes came without pressure to proceed, that challenging jobs in an older property with uneven walls and floors were handled well, and that a broken patio door was repaired on a tricky call-out.

Dale and his colleague are described as friendly and professional, with the standard of workmanship and the fairness of the price both singled out for praise. Kitchen fitting, flooring, skirtings and door hanging are the tasks most often referenced, and the team's willingness to work around customers' schedules is highlighted as well.
