I recently had a bathroom renovation to make the space larger, which involved removing a wall and creating room for a freestanding bath, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The quality of workmanship is exceptional and the finish is to a very high standard. From the initial planning and design stage through to discussing the budget and completing the work, everything was clearly explained and professionally managed. Nothing ever felt like a problem, and the whole team were reliable, friendly and highly skilled. I’m genuinely so impressed that I’ve already arranged another project with them — a garden renovation planned for 2026, which I’m really looking forward to. If you’re looking for a five-star building company, specialising in bathroom renovations, home improvements, structural alterations and high-quality building work, look no further. Aaron and the team are absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
We were in a really difficult spot after our previous joiner let us down halfway through our extension, and thankfully Aaron, Jonathan and his team stepped in to help. From the start, they were professional, reliable, and incredibly understanding of our situation. The quality of their work was excellent — everything was done with real care and attention to detail. They helped bring our project back on track and finish it to a high standard. I couldn’t recommend them enough — true professionals who clearly take pride in what they do.
Outstanding service start to finish. Aaron and Jonathan are easy to work with, honest straight forward and high quality of work. They even came and repaired someone else’s work on Christmas Eve! Would 100% recommend them.
South Edinburgh Joinery team recently fitted our new Howdens kitchen. Aaron was especially responsive, both in person and via WhatsApp. The liaison with Howdens went smoothly, and the team managed to adapt on the go to many different requests—such as changing a light switch and fitting new cabinet doors onto old kitchen carcasses. The job was finished on time, and we’re very pleased with the final result. We definitely recommend them.
Aaron and his team did a fantastic job upgrading my flat, and it looks great.New kitchen, plus doors, floors, entire flat redecorated, new electrics etc. Highly recommended.
Aaron and his team have recently renovated my kitchen - they came recommended by Howdens (that designed the kitchen and supplied the furniture) and have worked incessantly to make sure I was happy with the result. Aaron liaised with Howdens directly, adapted the plan when needed due to unforeseen structure challenges and was available at all times to help with any queries or concerns - which he always answered by coming over and resolving quickly. I can tell Aaron is keen to provide a great result and I really loved how my kitchen turned out!
We used South Edinburgh Joinery to replace our old wooden external staircase in a colonies style house. This was complicated by access and us living in a conservation area. We opted for a steel staircase which has looks fantastic. The team were so responsive to queries. We couldn't recommend this firm highly enough. Will definitely used again.
