It has taken me a little while to write this review because I wanted to make sure I did Greg justice—he truly deserves it. I feel incredibly lucky to have had him do my kitchen. The job threw up challenge after challenge, but Greg handled every single one with skill, patience, and absolute professionalism—and the finished result is beyond anything I ever imagined. This wasn’t a simple job as my flat is an older, converted property, full of quirks. As it used to be one house, Greg had to liaise with neighbours about things like stopcock access and garden use when we couldn’t get a skip down the small, narrow street. Nothing seemed to phase Greg. He just quietly found solutions, worked respectfully with everyone involved, and made sure every detail was taken care of—even leaving my neighbour’s garden spotless after using it to store the old kitchen! Throughout the whole process, Greg kept me informed in a calm and thoughtful way. He was always mindful of my work demands and timed conversations or decisions for when he knew I’d have the headspace, something I really appreciated. I was completely comfortable giving him a key and letting him get on with things, knowing the work, and my home, were in the best possible hands. On top of his high skill level, Greg is just a genuinely lovely person; warm, friendly, and easy to trust. He was even great at keeping my Dad (a retired engineer!) happy - a skill in itself! My new kitchen is better than I ever dreamed it could be, and that’s entirely down to his care, craftsmanship, and commitment to doing the job to the highest of standards. Greg, I cannot thank you enough! You are an absolute star and incredibly talented - I will certainly be in touch with any future jobs!

Greg did an amazing job with our kitchen and we cannot recommend him enough. From the removal and disposal of the old kitchen to all the wee finishing touches that just make our kitchen look incredible, Greg was so professional and carried out all work to a very high standard. Our renovation was a big job, and also pretty complex, as we live in a 200 year old tenement (and on the third floor!) Greg’s communication was fantastic and he kept us in the loop every step of the way, arranging for other tradespeople for extra work we needed like having a new consumer unit fitted or a new radiator. It took all the pressure off of us and meant we could just get on with our day jobs whilst he managed the whole project. Whenever we hit a snag, he offered solutions and was really flexible, which was so appreciated. He’s also just a really lovely guy, and when you’ve got a two + week renovation going on I think that it’s essential to have someone friendly and trustworthy around - and that’s definitely Greg! GRD Joinery Ltd - Skilled professional joiner Over the years my husband and I have had many joiners and tradesman attend our house for maintenance work. Our house was flooded in 2022. We were recommended Greg Dickson through Magnet Kitchens. I cannot recommend GRD Joinery Ltd highly enough. The reason for the five star award is Greg's (our joiner) ability to listen to customers needs as well as his excellent craftmenship, which was completed quickly. Our beautiful floorboards are now in place and have transformed our house. Importantly, his attendance is timely and he is just a genuinely nice guy. I also noticed that Greg brought Lewis (a learner joiner), who worked hard to help Greg complete the job. I noticed Greg's excellent communication style with Lewis, which would have enhanced his learning experience.

We would definitely recommend GRD Joinery to anyone thinking about fitting a kitchen. From the pre-job inspection to finish Greg and his team were fantastic. We could not find a better kitchen fitter. GRD joinery provided a high quality job, had excellent standards for quality, attention to detail, cleanliness and the communication throughout the kitchen installation was really excellent. Greg was professional, friendly and pro-active. Several times he identified issues and provided helpful options and suggestions. We felt involved in the process when we asked for things found Greg to be very responsive. We are very pleased at the quality of the workmanship and the cleanliness of the kitchen throughout the fit. The whole team were efficient, polite and thoughtful and made the experience of fitting the kitchen really smooth for us with limited impact on our work and home life. If you are thinking of installing a kitchen I would recommend you use GRD joinery, they are an excellent kitchen fitter and we would certainly use them again.

I chose GRD Joinery to fit my new kitchen based on all the positive customer feedback that I’d read about Greg’s work. Without hesitation I’d give him 5 stars and I can wholeheartedly recommend him. Greg project managed the job, seamlessly timetabling each trade as they were needed – plumber, electrician, plasterer and tiler. Throughout the re-fit Greg was highly professional and a pleasure to deal with - the standard of workmanship was exceptional, as was his level of communication at all times. Importantly, Greg is a problem solver – when snags arise as they inevitably do in this kind of job he provides solutions that effectively overcome any glitches. The finished result is a truly fabulous new kitchen - all down to Greg’s hard work, skill and meticulous approach. A job very well done and a very happy customer – thank you so much Greg!

Greg Dickson (owner of GRD Joinery) came recommended with a big reputation as the ‘Lionel Messi of Joinery.’ He and his team did not disappoint. There attention to detail was meticulous, craftsmanship was outstanding, proven ability to adapt when challenges arose and the finished product was exactly as the tag line stated, ‘we are here to deliver dreams.’ Not to mention the witty banter!

I would highly recommend GRD Joinery, they recently completed a kitchen installation for me, i was delighted with the standard of workmanship and Gregs professional manner.
