He goes out of his way to resolve tricky problems and achieves fantastic results. We’ve had a door fitted in an awkward space and some extensive fencing. We are absolutely delighted with both, and very glad that we found such a reliable, efficient and trustworthy guy.
Adam came along when he did, been looking for ages for a decent carpenter. We had couple of doors hanging back after carpet fitting & couple floating shelves. He was professional & excellent workmanship. I was friendly & approaching. I've saved his number for any future jobs & will definitely recommend to family & friends.
Adam is a rare gem when it comes to tradesmen: competent, reliable, honest and affordable at the same time. He has done a number of jobs for me including hanging doors, laying vinyl click flooring, building a complete new architrave for one doorway and part fitting a kitchen as well as many other smaller jobs. I am very happy with the quality of all his work. I was lucky to find someone like Adam as I had been badly let down by a previous tradesman who had left many of these jobs unfinished whilst others were just shoddy. Adam used his considerable carpentry skills (and a positive attitude) to do a fantastic job of undoing the damage and mistakes before completing each task, which wasn’t easy. I have a few more jobs in the pipeline and won’t be trusting anyone else to do them. Adam gives 5 star service, with a smile and friendly banter thrown in. I would definitely recommend him if you need any carpentry work.

Found Sowerbys by chance when I desperately needed some doors planing after new flooring was laid. I got an immediate reply, he told me when he could come (that same week) and told me the cost. He arrived early actually, did the work, cleaned up afterwards and was very professional and pleasant. We are delighted.
