We used AMB joinery for the removal of our chimneys. So firstly we were given a written quote which is unusual these days but very welcomed for us, in the past we have been given verbal quotes then things have changed during the job. The work carried out was to a very high standard and it has cured our very damp attic room which had been going on for a couple of years. Adam and his team were lovely and very clean workers. I have used A M B many times as a landlord, I have always been impressed with not only his workmanship, but also his attitude, if something goes wrong, he is happy to put it right without argument, recently he worked through a weekend to make a tenant happy, he is capable in everything to do with a house, roofing, building and plumbing, after using him in recent years, I cannot recommend him highly enough. Used A M B joinery n building service a few times for small jobs, always pleased by end product. The house was really desperate for a big renovation, and I was in a better position to have the work done. I didn't hesitate to ring Adam. Came up to see me and we agreed as to what needed to be done. Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side, but with so much work to be done both inside and outside, jobs got done around the weather. New roof/dorma, all rooms plastered, new bathroom, kitchen knocked through into dining room with new kitchen units fitted. Flooring fitted plus other work. I even decided I wanted dining room chimney breast out which they fitted into their schedule for me, which meant chimney stack along with 3 chimney breasts were removed. Adam’s company is the best and most versatile company I’ve used in my forty years in Sheffield. The quality of work is brilliant and reasonably priced ; Adam gives really good advice about keeping costs down. Nothing is too much trouble and the team can turn their hands to anything. They’ve done extensive roof work,fitted a new kitchen, plastering, building, plumbing, new ceiling and done me a new garden! They are so pleasant and they will sort out the little things like fixing a new blind, a cat flap, a lock on the door as well as all the big stuff. I wouldn’t use anyone else now!
