For the private housing market, it produces staircases, built in furniture, doors, casement and traditional box sash windows, conservatories and specialised flooring. For the commercial market, it fabricates computer equipment consoles, reception counters, point of display cabinets, bars, shop fittings and traditional and modern architectural joinery.

Householders bringing modest commissions to this Bristol workshop consistently describe a capable and accommodating team. Clients mention having laminated chipboard sheets shaved down and oak sleepers reduced to size, tasks turned around swiftly and, in the view of those commenting, at a reasonable cost. Steve and Andy are named again and again, with Steve credited for steering customers through the selection and procurement of door hardware for Accoya French doors. Many reviewers draw attention to the standard of the finished article, whether purpose-made joinery or fitted doors, and note that the craftsmanship requires no defence.

One thing mentioned again and again is the willingness of the team to assist, in person as well as on the telephone, including one account of helpfulness before any work had been commissioned. Dealings are portrayed as direct and straightforward, and the approachability of those on site is remarked upon frequently. Small jobs are said to be handled without delay, with timber left and gathered again inside a few hours. The workshop emerges as a dependable local option for made-to-measure joinery, where guidance on materials and fittings is given generously and the calibre of the completed work is what brings people back.
