4.5 / 5 · 15 totalNiall and Alan did a fantastic job building a very specifically sized library for us to house a large video games collection in an old unlevel house! Niall visited several times to make sure his measurements were perfect and adjusted everything as needed to maximise the space avaliable. Really excellent service and really genuine nice people.
My wife phoned looking for a joiner for an urgent job. Spoke to Neil who was extremely helpful. On account of the urgency and that Clydebuilt Joinery are so busy, Neil gave my wife details of another joiner who many be able to help, with the offer of giving us further assistance, should this joiner not be available. What a gentleman.
Highly recommended. I had various shelves and cabinets built and installed by Neil and was really pleased with the finished result. Neil offered really helpful advice during the planning stages and the final result was of excellent quality.
Very happy with the work Neil did on my internal doors - they look great!
Neil is wonderful. He was very helpful and very thorough; his knowledge of joinery is incredible, the kind of knowledge that you can only get from having a wealth of experience. He also had excellent knowledge about working in tenements, so he was able to offer us some invaluable advice. Neil clearly loves his job and working with wood and it really comes across. It was a genuine pleasure to have him build our bookcase. My partner and I are first time buyers and a bit clueless and were nervous about who to trust with such a big job and I am beyond pleased that we came across Clydebuilt Joinery!
First used Neil when doing attic conversion, happy to take the time to go over everything and explain how things were progressing, Happy to make suggestions on how to make the most of the project, how to derive the most benefit but without being overbearing. Extremely happy with result on Attic conversion from a few years ago only had really positive comments from everyone who saw it. So have employed Neil again to do the downstairs and he is the same in respect of being flexible, making suggestions and bringing other trades in to complete jobs. Work always to a high standard and never rushed to completion like a lot of tradesmen. Neil would be first call on any future projects.
Neil built a three bay built-in bookcase with adjustable shelves and lights on either side and fitted the hardware for the library ladder we had sourced separately. Once that was done, he built a bookcase with sliding doors to hide a murphy bed in the spare room. We're very happy with both.
