Susan Harper Furniture

Susan Harper Furniture is a Glasgow based workshop specialising in bespoke furniture and made to measure kitchens. The company works mainly throughout Scotland and the UK, and has also been commissioned to make furniture further afield. It incorporates both traditional cabinetry and modern furniture making techniques. The company has experience working with community groups on various projects, in partnership with charities. Services offered include bespoke furniture, fitted furniture and joinery, and kitchen design and manufacture.

Householders in Glasgow commissioned Susan Harper Furniture for a range of bespoke joinery, according to a customer account. The workshop, at 81A Sword St, took on several pieces for one home: a custom window seat, an oak mantel, fitted kitchen shelving and replacement skirting. The work is described as reaching a very high standard and being reasonably priced.

As a bespoke furniture maker, the business handled both fitted elements and freestanding work within the same property, from built-in seating and shelving to joinery repairs and a timber mantel. The account centres on the finish achieved and the cost, with the client expressing satisfaction across the various jobs completed.
