I couldn’t be happier with the desk and chair Chris Turner created for me. From the very beginning, the whole process felt collaborative and thoughtful — we talked through ideas, tested options, and refined the design at every stage. It was clear that Chris genuinely cared about getting everything just right. The result is a completely bespoke setup: a beautifully crafted oak desk with rich wenge detailing, designed perfectly to house my full 88-key keyboard in a smooth, integrated drawer, alongside my computer for composing. It’s not just functional — it’s absolutely stunning. The matching chair, built to measure, is equally impressive: solid, comfortable, and perfectly suited to me. Every time I sit down, I find myself smiling. The quality, attention to detail, and craftsmanship are outstanding, and the finished pieces feel truly unique. On top of all that, Chris is a genuinely lovely person to work with — approachable, skilled, and clearly passionate about what he does. I found Chris through a post I’d made, and from our first meeting, I knew he was the right fit for this project. What started as a simple design developed into a truly magnificent build: a stunning bespoke piece featuring bookshelves, cupboards, and a hidden drinks cabinet. Chris worked hard to take my random ideas and refine them into a cohesive vision. The attention to detail is world-class, from the bespoke sliding doors and glass shelves to the warm walnut lining and integrated lighting. The finish is outstanding, featuring Farrow & Ball painted units and beautiful handmade brass knobs. He was fully engaged throughout the project; I was able to visit the workshop to discuss details, and on-site, Chris and his team were a pleasure to work with. I am so confident in his craftsmanship and creative inspiration that I’d happily show his work to anyone. He is quite simply a great person to work with.

Chris designed and fitted a beautiful solid walnut breakfast bar for an existing island unit. Every detail, including chouce of wood grain, shaping, bevelling and varnishing was expertly done. Chris did a fantastic job on some custom built cabinets for our family room. The quality of the product is amazing and it’s exactly as per the design and is a real feature and talking point now. He was also able to swiftly deal with any other tradesmen undertaking complimentary services to make the whole thing work together.

I bought a Fly Tying Bobbin holder almost a year ago and it’s still a great pleasure to look at it! The wood is just beautiful and the work is stunning. We are also working on a desk project with Chris who is so kind and very helpful. 100% happy with them!
