The Birch Boys | Bespoke Furniture & Shopfitters

The Birch Boys is a bespoke furniture maker based in Birmingham, UK, operating from a design studio and workshop in Digbeth, Birmingham. Its process is Consult, Design, Make, Fit. The company offers bespoke interiors described as considered and handmade to last, serving commercial clients from luxury shops to tiny houses. Services include kitchens designed for real life, storage solutions, bathroom solutions, kids rooms, wardrobes adapted to changing times, WFH offices, and nomad living solutions.

Bespoke furniture and cabinetry form the core of the output from this Birmingham workshop, and the accounts customers leave keep returning to the standard of the finished pieces. The work described ranges widely: a garden shack, a made-to-measure bed, a fitted storage installation, a shelf and a table, alongside furniture restoration and design. Craftsmanship is called wonderful, and close attention to detail is presented as a thread running from the first design conversation right through to delivery. Jamie is named for his talent and his enthusiasm for the craft, while the wider team draws consistent praise as professional and dependable.

Ease of dealing with the makers comes through strongly, customers describing them as enjoyable to collaborate with on site and in the studio, and plywood cabinetry and bespoke joinery give the pieces their particular character. Results are said to suit their intended spaces well, whether a table for a new home or storage shaped to a specific room, and the bed was thought reasonably priced. A further theme is the readiness of the team to take on repeat commissions, with customers stating they would come back for another piece of woodwork or another project.
