Gave Breda one days notice after sash window fell apart after removing as kid had kicked a ball through a pane of glass, next day as i entered the shop a young joiner was finishing the putty on the glass, the brand new sash was completely finished , the price was fantastic at the highest of quality workmanship, Martin who has this shop had given me weights, pins, wheels and sash cord over the years without accepting a penny, his son Martin also as i was leaving gave me the locks and pulls for nothing, you don't get companies like this anymore, all round beautiful family and great work force, a pleasure to deal with, one happy Donegal man, . I work for a local restoration company and we use Caledonian joinery for replacement windows that are unrepairable as they are able to recreate historical windows perfectly and are experts at efficiently putting together high quality windows in a timely fashion and sometimes in our case with limited information. Breda and Martin are fantastic representatives of their company - we will always use them and would recommend them wholeheartedly

Beautifully made replacement sash windows which manage to elegantly incorporate draught seals and full depth double glazing whilst maintaining the appearance on the original single glazed sashes. Not an easy task! Have also made a huge difference to the comfort and heating costs of our flat. Would definitely recommend.

Martin and Breda were fantastic - we returned our brick reveals to their original openings, leaving huge holes in the wall, which was boarded up with ply during winter. We were living in the renovation and Martin took pity on us, given we also had no rads in the house! He prioritised us as customers which I am eternally grateful for, and turned the windows around in record time. Our builders installed the windows poorly, and broke two of the pulleys on installation and trapping the nylon rope behind the wagtail. Caledonian joinery kindly supplied us new pulley wheels to match our brass ironmongery, which really makes the windows feel premium and robust. A few things to note is their windows are glazed from the outside, bottom sashes come with horns, and they use all white warm up bars (inside the glazing) which are really good quality, and stay true to the original sash design (I always found the metal warm up bars to look a bit cheap). These windows were supply only so I had to fit my own ogee architrave and window board, which really finishes off the windows internally. Very impressed with the service offered by Caledonian Joinery from start to finish (Breda, Martin & the team). Martin & the team have a real passion for their craft and their workmanship is second to none. They made us 3 timber framed sash windows which are superb (made and measured to order), very reasonably priced and were delivered and installed within the agreed timeframe. Caledonian Joinery made and installed 4 sash windows. The house is in a conservation area so had to be made in an exacting way. The windows are well made and look great. The Caledonian joiners know their work. Windows were installed within the time arranged and for a reasonable price. It was very easy to work with the company because their team gives care and attention to their customers. Thank you Martin and Breda and the team. Highly recommend.

I have just had two windows replaced by Caledonian Joinery, they have been fantastic, great pricing, Breda's communication has been fantastic. They arrived on time to install the windows, it was very difficult as it was a large window togo at the back of my flat on the first floor. They could not get it up the narrow staircase so instead they got it through a first floor window at the front of the property. They were determined to install my windows. My husband and I have had a number of window installed in other properties but they have made excellent windows and were committed to getting them installed, they offer a very professional service. We are very happy with the end product and will be having other windows done by their company in the future. I would highly recommend them!
