Jon and Martyn worked incredibly hard during extremely hot weather on this for me. It wasn’t quite a straightforward build but they cracked on and did a great job. Highly recommend their services to anyone in Cardiff!
Our experience with Jonathan Szwandt and Cardiff & Caerphilly Carpentry was an absolute nightmare. We hired them for a simple project, but it turned into a disaster. The craftsmanship was subpar, with crooked fittings, uneven finishes that looked like they were done by an amateur. John refused to return to fix his work due to the list of issues being to extensive and clearly beyond his ability. When we finally had enough and took them to court, so far he has failed to honour the court's decision to reimburse us for the damages they caused. They still owe us money, and it's been a nightmare trying to recover it. Overall, I would strongly advise against hiring John for any project.
Thank you very much to Cardiff and Caerphilly Carpentry, we are incredibly pleased with our new under-stairs storage. Kealan did an excellent job! He worked flat out for two days straight, building all of the storage units in our driveway despite it chucking it down with rain. Several family members are already requesting referrals so they can have something similar for their house. Thanks so much for a fantastic job!
Great service from John and the team at Cardiff and Caerphilly Carpentry. I went for their new understairs storage package with the laminate finish instead of the spray option they’re now phasing out and I’m so glad I did! The quality is fantastic, solid and clean, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. Really happy with the end result. Would definitely recommend!
The team at Cardiff and Caerphily Carpentry were brilliant from start to finish. Friendly, down-to- earth, and proper craftsmen who clearly take price in what they do. Nothing was too much trouble, and the end result honestly blew us away. It's rare to find people who care this much we're so glad we chose them.
