Matthew built a new hifi rack for us. It's amazing. Such attention to detail and real craftsmanship. He was also so great to deal with - friendly and helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Matt did an amazing job creating bespoke storage and fronts for our kitchen. He was really helpful in the design and material choices, with a high attention to detail. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and will be in touch for any future projects!

A few years ago Matt designed and built a bespoke wardrobe and storage space in the front bedroom of our 1895 Victorian terrace house in East Oxford. The communication between ourselves and Matt was faultless. He listened to what we wanted, designed the space to incorporate everything we asked for and utilised every space creatively. We have a beautiful handmade addition to our home and are very grateful we asked him to build and install the unit for us. Prior to this Matt built a beautiful curio cabinet for American storyteller dolls for us. Again, the design and choice of wood was beautiful. The marquetry is lovely and replicates many American Indian patterns.

Matt built an extensive record shelving and hi -fi cabinetry over about a six week period. Finished product shown a number of times in his pictures (the blue coloured room). Now that I’ve been living with the finished product for a while, I’m happy in a profoundly content way, rather that the quick flash of a shiny new thing. I would contend any carpenter can make a shelf but I’d wager none will invest the time, attention to detail and care that Matt did. I think quality craftsmanship, customer service (rather than platitudes) and ‘doing it right above extracting the maximum’ are old fashioned ways and often not an option these days. Matt is not a relative, I am not being nor have I been paid. I am simply recommending a first class , gentle craftsmen who really cares about his clients and his work.

Matt did an incredible job building shelving/cupboard units in our alcoves. They are absolutely beautiful and have transformed the room, his attention to detail was excellent and he was lovely to have working in the house. Couldn’t recommend him any higher! Will definitely be getting him back for any future projects.

Could not recommend Matt higher! He is collaborative, communicative, knowledgeable, helped me with materials and decisions when I needed it and brought my ideas to life perfectly despite some very challenging dimensions and wonky old walls. I wouldn’t go to anyone else for a new project!

Matthew fitted a floor to ceiling cabinet for us in our main bedroom earlier in the year. We were thrilled with the result and comment on how good it is, as well as beautiful each week to this day. Matt, came initially to take measurements and was patient in listening to what we were looking for specific to our space. In our case the cabinet would be creating a decent amount of storage spanning a party wall. He neatly designed the cabinet to skirt around the chimney breast leaving a beautiful and ergonomic flush feel with sliding doors. We really couldn't be more pleased. Matts' calm, kind and patient approach in addition to his amazing talent makes recommending his work a no brainer!
