STEVE BAINES BESPOKE JOINERY

Fitted wardrobes with matching furniture built to fit difficult spaces are what the feedback for this Birmingham joiner keeps returning to. The accounts cover a wardrobe made for a daughter, a set of bespoke wardrobes paired with bedside tables, and a floor-to-ceiling corner unit with several drawer runs, all tailored to awkward dimensions. Steve Baines is named directly, and the personal manner in which he works comes through plainly: he is described as a craftsman who measures carefully, gets the fit right, and is straightforward to deal with before and during the job.

Finish is the point that comes up most often, with the doors and drawers of a recently installed wardrobe still drawing admiration weeks after fitting. Reliability and professional conduct are mentioned alongside that, as is the courteous way the work was carried out on site. Customers describe the process as easy from first measurements through to installation, with clear communication along the way. The pieces shown range from large built-in runs to smaller freestanding items made to match, indicating a workshop comfortable with both. What the accounts come back to is the standard of the completed storage.
