Second time using Scott from 1st Choice Carpentry, and I can honestly say I wouldn’t choose any other tradesperson. Not only is he a genuinely nice guy, but his work is always high quality with incredible craftsmanship. He’s professional, polite, friendly, and reliable throughout. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

Spoke to Scott again after my earlier review. He said he had been away on holiday and maybe I was a little over the top with my remarks - disappointed not to hear back

Scott has just completed fantastic work in our home, completing panelling in our hall, stairs and landing, bedroom and a new bannister and metal spindles for our stairs. We’re so happy with the work he’s done. Scott is very professional, precise and great attention to detail. He’s reliable, trustworthy and a very pleasant man. Scott has done a great job supplying and fitting 2 exterior doors for us. Being an older building he had to find a solution to fit 1 of the doors which demonstrated his skill and integrity. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to have work done.

Would recommend using Scott, searched through quite a few carpenters on google before deciding to use his services. I was not disappointed with the result and his workmanship, a tidy and friendly contractor, who kept me informed throughout the build and helped me out with additional jobs around the house at no extra hassle.

Scott has played a very important role in our home renovation project! We've done everything from changing the windows to outside cladding, indoor carpentry and plastering etc. Absolutely impeccable craftsmanship from Scott, cannot fault a single thing he's touched! We get so many compliments on our house from passer-bys these days and it is hugely thanks to him! Scott is an honest tradesman who takes time to understand what needs to be done, but he's also got a wealth of experience and is happy to suggest ways things should be done, too. Scott also helped to recommended other tradesmen for the work that he can't do himself. Let me tell you, every person that he recommended has done well! So as long as we live in Sutton Coldfield, we'll be going back to Scott if anything else needs doing. PS: To the person who's left one star review. Sorry you missed on having Scott doing some work on your house! He really is very busy and when your quote slipped through, he was very busy with all that work that was being done on our house. This, however, shouldn't warrant a one star review, as it isn't a reflection of Scott's actual craftsmanship, which what these reviews should be about! Thanks!

Called for a quote on a couple of bigger jobs, with a few smaller jobs. Scott was punctual in attending my property to go through all the jobs and came across as a nice chap. Spent around 30-40 minutes going through everything. Advised me he would get a quote sent over within a few days. A week had passed and I hadn't heard anything. Chased up by text, however, completely ignored. Strange... complete WASTE OF TIME.
