Creation Carpentry

Creation Carpentry was started by Colin Campbell and Drew McNicol. The company operates from a workshop in Kirkintilloch, Glasgow. It specialises in bespoke joinery and commercial fit outs. It manufactures and installs bespoke commercial installations such as bars and reception areas. It works with interior designers, business owners, architects, home owners, landlords and developers.

It uses a mixture of traditional techniques and modern CAD machinery including CNC routing. Most cutting and preparation is carried out in its workshop before arriving on site. It has experience across large modern builds, hospitality fit-outs, Victorian Villas and listed buildings. It also carries out joinery work including maintenance, repairs and rebuilds. It offers bespoke joinery solutions for domestic and commercial clients.

Kirkintilloch residents describe a joinery practice whose bespoke output covers staircases, understairs storage, radiator covers, cupboards, bookcases and kitchen cabinetry matched precisely to existing units. The named craftsmen Colin, Drew, Josh and Liam are repeatedly praised for guiding clients through suitable choices before work started, for arriving when promised and for keeping people informed from quotation to handover. Tidiness comes up often, with homes left clean once the tools were packed away, and reviewers note the care taken in an older cottage where awkward geometry complicated the fitting of a dressing room.

Smaller installations such as gates, glass balustrades, loft hatches and ladders sit alongside larger transformations, and minor snags were resolved promptly and without argument. Several accounts highlight straightforward communication throughout and pricing agreed in advance that customers considered fair for the standard reached. Politeness and a willingness to go a little further than required feature regularly, and repeat business is common, one household returning for hallway cabinets after an oak banister was rescued from earlier poor work. Meticulous standards in bespoke joinery recur as the thread tying these jobs together.
