I can’t recommend Manir and the team at Hudson DIY highly enough. They stepped in at very short notice to help my father with a variety of tasks, including fitting new doors, installing light fittings, and carrying out various small electrical works. ​The team was fantastic—consistently reliable, courteous, and incredibly tidy. What really stood out was their responsiveness; they were always quick to answer any questions we had and kept us informed throughout. It’s rare to find such a professional and efficient team. Great service and highly recommended!

I recently purchased a property and needed someone to change the bannister, post and spindles as the current one weren't compliant due to the large gaps in between the rail which posed a safety risk for young children. I got a few quotes which were far more expensive than I was expecting. I was expecting Hudson DIY Ltd to charge more but I was surprised with the amount they quoted. It was affordable and the work was agreed for the following week. The work was due to take 2 days but Manir and his associates, John and Josiah, managed to complete the work in a day. They stayed until 8pm to complete the work which was appreciated. We had an issue with the electric on the day but Manir got in touch with an electrician he knew and he was at the property within the hour and managed to sort out the issue. Thank you for going the extra mile for a customer who was in a stressful situation. The work was at a very high standard and John and Josiah cleaned up after which wasn't what I was expecting. I would definitely recommend Hudson DIY Ltd. They're at the top of my list for future work I'll need doing. Manir was really helpful, honest and reliable. Something you don't find that often in this trade. Thanks again for all your help. It's really appreciated.

We asked Manir to install shelving and a cupboard in our chimney breast alcoves. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. All work was done exactly to our specifications and the result is fantastic. Would definitely recommend!

Exceptional service from Manir. He’s totally professional in every way and altogether a lovely, helpful person. I needed wooden wheelchair ramps repairing quite urgently and was really lucky that Manir was able to come round immediately to see what needed doing. He gave me a fair quote on the spot and returned the next day to do the job. At every stage he confirmed by text the details of the work involved and kept me updated by text about when he would be arriving. Because I wasn’t there when he carried out the work, he sent before and after photos so I could see what he had done. He’ll certainly be the person I call for any work that needs doing in and around the house from now on.
