Hi, Jon recently did some under stair storage and bedroom wardrobes with some help from his lovely partner. I would certainly recommend him. The job was done exactly to our specs and we were consulted throughout. A very pleasant experience throughout.

I spent months searching for a skilled carpenter and found Jon through yet another Google search. From the moment he arrived at my house to discuss the work, I knew he was the right man for the job. Jon is a very skilled analytical carpenter, able to design and deliver solutions that look fantastic. We started with a boiler housing unit and I was so impressed, I asked him to re-purpose a door frame in my attic room and fit a reclaimed door, another excellent job completed. The final job really demonstrated Jon’s skills. I had a badly built fitted wardrobe which was an eyesore, Jon has now transformed it into a very smart looking wardrobe. I couldn’t be happier. In addition, I mentioned a list of all those little niggling jobs I hadn’t got around to doing. Jon’s wife Josie came along and between them, in a few hours, sorted everything out. Very rarely do you find a craftsman like Jon, not only is he very good at his job, he’s a lovely man to work with and goes the extra mile. Jon’s prices are very reasonable, he costed each of the larger jobs accurately, he also offered a daily rate for the smaller jobs, so you know exactly where you stand. I cannot recommend Jon and Josie highly enough, you won’t regret making that call.

Jon did a fantastic job for us , replaced our old wrought iron gates and front fence with wooden ones as we requested. Jon kept us informed every step of the way and nothing was to much trouble for him. He is such a pleasant hard working man who actually enjoys every second. The job was finished well beyond our expectations and I would have no hesitation in recommending Jon. Thankyou very much Jon and we will definitely be having more work done.

We’ve had a crack in our door since we moved in, and we were keen to fix it without losing the original door. I found Jon through his glowing reviews, and he really delivered. He repaired the crack perfectly, no need for a new panel, and gave the door a new lease of life. The whole job was professional, communication was spot-on, and he was just a top bloke. Excellent carpenter — I’m really pleased with the work. He fitted new skirting boards, and when the poor quality of the walls caused some buckling, he came back, fixed the skirting properly, and repaired the wall to stop it happening again. He also made and fitted bath sides, put up cupboards, mounted a dart board, and fixed and neatly framed my loft hatch. He discussed different options with me, explaining where costs could be kept down versus what would give the best overall outcome. He worked quickly but without rushing, everything was finished to a high standard, and he worked very tidily. He was also very friendly and approachable throughout. Professional, reliable, and I’d happily recommend him and will be having him back again myself! Thanks Jon!

Jon has been great from start to finish, he has managed to bring to life exactly what I have envisaged for each space. From providing initial 3D drawings of each area, to completion of works, every detail has been meticulous and well thought out. He has also been great at allowing scope of works to develop as the project evolves, truly allowing for a working brief. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and can’t wait for some future projects to be completed later this year.

Jon did an excellent job hanging and resizing doors for us, which needed to go in some very awkwardly sized frames. He was punctual, tidy, extremely friendly, the work was top notch and we had a great chat afterwards. I doubt you'll meet a more hospitable tradesperson! Can't recommend him enough for any wood-related needs.
