I wanted built-in shelves on our landing and Tom did an excellent job in a very awkward space. He advised on the right materials and a design that would work with the wonky walls of our old house. He worked very quickly and the quality is superb. The shelves aren't painted yet but I'll post photos when they are. Highly recommend and I will call Tom again if we have another high-spec carpentry project.

Tom's work was excellent - until we had a problem with a door he had hung for us. Impossible to get him to reply by email, text or phone.

I can't say enough good things about Tom! He's been so diligent and thorough from the initial quoting-up for the jobs, to advising on what materials to use, all the way through to the install. We asked him to build a hallway cupboard to make the most of some dead space, create heavy-duty shelving and a custom sized worktop for decks and records, and build some alcove shelving in our dining room. As you can see from the pics it all turned out BEAUTIFULLY :-) If you want something done properly, with great attention to detail, Tom is definitely your guy!

We love Tom’s work at most! He made all of our wishes came true in a reasonable price. We were in need of a worktop which is in unique size and height. After a few discussions, Tom understood our needs and suggested his professional refinements. He even searched around for suitable woods. Then finally, he customized us a stained ash window sill, a countertop and live edge floating shelves. He is such a considerate carpenter. He handled all the work in great detail. And even make sure we are happy with the direction we look at the wood grain. We cannot recommend Tom more enough!

Tom created some bespoke birch plywood shelves for my kitchen. From the very outset it was obvious that Tom has a keen eye for design and detail. My initial ideas were taken and developed into something both practical but also beautiful. Tom really took care to make sure I was happy with every detail. I would definitely recommend and will also be using Tom again in the future for sure!

Tom constructed a ceiling-height shelving unit for our office using recycled scaffolding boards. As you can see in the pictures, the unit is robust, symmetrical and beautifully finished with a dark brown wax. This combination of elegance and solidity is especially impressive given how unknown a quantity old scaffold board can be (think moisture, warping etc.). It exceeded our expectations in every way, adding character, space, and even adding a sense of height to our low-ceilinged abode. We’re absolutely thrilled with his work. Tom himself epitomises the qualities of personabilty, professionality, and punctuality, arriving uncannily on the dot for appointments. When installing the unit, he worked efficiently enough to engage in conversation as well as finish early. Mess was kept to a minimum and he left the room even cleaner than he found it. We couldn’t provide a higher recommendation for Tom and his work. It’s top quality and reasonably priced. We’re now looking for further jobs for him, having seen what he’s capable of. Thanks!

I needed a built-in unit by the back door with some shelving and a rack for outdor shoes. Starting from a very rough sketch of mine Tom suggested some refinements which I liked and then created an excellent unit which has exceeded my expectations greatly. Tom is a superb craftsman and I happily recommend him to anybody looking for a top quality job.
